The ThinPrint virtual desktop environment can be used by the bizhub to speed up printing of extra-large data files by compressing the print data and reducing network loads.

Functions
• Compressing print data – ThinPrint can compress print data by up to a maximum of 99% (when using driver-free printing).

• Controlling network bandwidth – ThinPrint controls the network bandwidth which is allocated to print processing so that the bandwidth being used by other users and applications can be maintained.

• Driver-free printing – ThinPrint allows printing to be carried out without needing to install printer drivers on all servers. It reduces the costs involved in managing multiple printers and printer drivers.
